Most Estate fencing is painted black but we can use any colour on the RAL paint chart and we have used many colours over the years and would be happy to discuss and advise. In any case, the steel bars are shot blasted and treated with an anti-rust primer before it arrives on site. We then re-prime after welding and spray paint the fence 2 topcoats on site once fitted. Whilst this provides very good anti rust protection please note that paintwork on both wrought iron and mild steel Estate fencing requires maintenance every few years.

Britannia offers a comprehensive service designing, manufacturing and installing steel or forged gates. They range from simple fabricated panel gates to fully forged ornamental gates made by our in house blacksmith.
Our Estate Gates are usually set within a run of Estate Fencing and therefore match the dimensions and style of the fence. We offer a range of standard gate designs - these are applicable to all our gate sizes and formats and we offer detail variations on all gates depending on taste and budget - we are also offer fabrication of bespoke designs be it welded steel or forged.
In conjunction with these we supply a number of standard post and finial designs - these are all interchangeable dependant on your preferences.
